Not really Umlilio,you can have Irish Terrorists,Basque Terrorists and Muslim Terrorists,plenty more as well.
But these terrorists are religion driven and that religion is Islam,that's a fact..
And another fact is when they behead people they shout " Allah is Great "
Don't worry though about the people slained,just worry about they way me and others highlight facts..
Now before I'm called a bigot or racist,let me give you another fact,my brother in- law is a Muslim,my sister married an Iranian guy who fled Iran
in the 70s pre the nutty Ayah Tolla what's he's face reign.Some of the stories he tells me about the treatment of fellow Iranians,especially women
is barbaric to say the least.how can people be put through such inhumane treatment.some of these places still practise laws from 100s of years ago.
I mean burying women up to there necks and then stoning them for having an affair is terrible..
Another fact,we get on very well.

@DTF:
BTW: In my family also we have Christians, Hindus and even Jews.
Firstly, the Muslim world (non-terrorist) is resigned to the fact that these goings-on are the result of the US interventions... for 'security', oil and gas. What the heck? Do what you have to! Two wrongs do not make a right.....so what? A catch-22 situation together with the chicken and egg!
Secondly, the Iranian situation is no more acceptable than that of the Saudis.... and most of the ME countries, including Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Thirdly, Muslims are equally divided as Christianity into sects, coupled with tribalism and ancestral, local customs, which find their way into their religious beliefs.
Satanists using the name of Jesus is just as unacceptable as these people using the words 'Allah is great!'
All of us (who follow a religion) are somewhat 'grey' and adapt ourselves or compromise a religion to what fits..... in lesser or greater degree. There are questions which we rather overlook for the 'greater good'!
In Pakistan, Muslim priests have come out condemning the recent, senseless attack on Christians, which is a good sign; about time these priests / mullahs spoke out!
I can go on but there's no point as I myself am speculating on a kind of people who are alien to me and my lifestyle.
Suffice that, as human beings, we need to respect one another (even if one-sided)

Sometimes religion is blamed for a lot of the world's woes. But in many cases religion is only the consequence. For example, the Irish troubles is not about Catholic v Protestants but about Republicans v Unionist. It just happens to be that they are Catholics and Protestants respectively. Or, a dominant Muslim tribe in the ME (details escape me, Shi'ites?) have to share borders with several other Muslim countries only because England and France carved the map in the sand. And so on ....

@mac:
Syria is a classical example; Shias and Alawites against Sunnis ( with their motley lot of Al Qaeda, Taliban, etc).
Iraq and Iran against the Sunni neighbours, kicking off with Saudi Arabia (royalty is forbidden in Islam yet this is the seat of Islam- nobody dare question that)..!!!
Yes, behind the religious fanaticism is often a separate issue which loses impetus... even meaning!
Crazy, crazy world! Stop! I wanna get off!

In the 1880's Mount Kilimanjaro used to be in British East Africa now Kenya. In her charitable good works, Queen Victoria gave Mt Kilimanjaro as a Christmas present to the Kaiser of Germany by moving the border with German East Africa (now Tanzania). So hundreds of Kenyan Swahili's became hundreds of Tanzanian Swahili's. 'Struth.

..........and it it frightening to think that SA has opened it's borders to all and sundry.
How many Somalians do we have in SA?. How many terrorists lie therein.
Have you ever seen these okes going to Muslim shops etc for donations on a Friday.
I wonder how much of these donations are going to terrorist organisations.
I had seen these collections made every Friday in a complex where I once owned a shop.

That's not the only way they fund their operations.
Johannesburg (AFP) - Somalia's Shebab militia, which carried out a bloody attack on Nairobi's Westgate mall, is in part funded by the poaching trade, wildlife activists said Thursday.
"Over the last 18 months, we've been investigating the involvement of the Shebab in trafficking ivory through Kenya," Andrea Crosta, executive director of the Elephant Action League told AFP.
The trade "could be supplying up to 40 percent of the funds needed to keep them in business."
The Islamist group has come under the spotlight after claiming responsibility for a four-day siege at the upmarket Westgate Mall in Nairobi which left at least 67 people dead by the time it ended Tuesday.
However the wildlife group said links have also cropped up in recent years between the poaching trade and groups like Uganda's Lord's Resistance Army or Darfur's Janjaweed.
