WHAT A DISGRACE - FLAMINGO PARK TOP TRAINER JAAP VISSER

What would happen if the jockeys refused to ride their horses. Is the jockey title too important. I know I wouldnt ride for them and yet they get praised on TV by Mr Pepper who cant stop telling us what a beautiful job she is doing

How this site can be looked down apon by certain ppl is beyond me..
There are A LOT of GOOD ppl on here and ppl who CARE a great deal about horse racing.
I mean we just had a guy from UK(easy) offer to cover the costs of moving this horse to the vet,etc. This is world class ppl.(Ps I haven't not noted the others whom also offered financial services and other help).
This site is only good 4 racing. Lets Please help this horse in any way possible as well as prevent this from happening again, by mking sure justice prevails

gareth can only comment on the results and he cannot be held responsible for the goings on that he is not aware of,I too defended them and did not believe what was being said but if this turns out to be Golden Occasion then I will retract every thing i said and hang my head in shame!!! as for jockeys not riding for them, watch this space!!! <

Sheza im just a normal oke much like many in sa racing i have a cemetery in my closet BUT cruelty to animals and especially my beloved thoroubred will not be tolerated. Racehorses are part of my life, i have thanks to racing many wonderful friends, thanks to racing an ever constant topsy tury bank balance but through it all the horse is paramount.

I hate the vissers and have done so since go me gal was retired......

That's my point bud, this site is filled with normal dudes and dudettes, who are great ppl with HUGE passion for the game and most importantly the horse..our beloved horses

E man doesnt happen often but we are 1000000000000000000 % on common ground here matey(tu)(tu)...on a lighter note id like to bet you that my closet is a lot more cramped than yours

Some people don't get it, myself and vickie still shed a tear when its derby time in kentucky and we remember eight belles. I love racing, i love horses, i PAY in, i dont take out. Once a month we go to epsom with carrots for the horses in the field, i wont accept cruelty to this most majestic animal not any day not while i breathe.

When i watch that video i get get sickened and my blood boils, if the authorities dont do something with immediate effect the fertilizer WILL hit the windmill !!!!

Hi folks,

The horse was put down earlier today. It apparently sustained a kick to its shoulder (there is a nerve plexus in the shoulder / chest area and trauma can result in lameness / uncoordination in the lower limb). Anyway, it would seem that the leg was not broken and I'm told that the horse has been eating and drinking normally and not sweating up or showing signs of distress as it would have been if it was in severe pain.

However, the decision was taken to put the horse down earlier this afternoon.

That is all the information I have for the time being.
