They must of thought it had some ability, hence it competed in Durban as a Juvenile during the winter, that's good enough for me.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Real kind ride there by Aldo. Gave her two smacks down the shoulder only.
She surely must come on a ton from this run.

I have said this before.
Should the favorite lose, then both jockey and trainer, of the losing favorite should be interviewed so punters(money cows), can get a better understanding of why a runner was favorite in the first place.
This will hopefully, share some transparency about false favorites attracting money that would otherwise be placed on something else.
But this is a pipe dream. Why keep should the tote/bookies lose out to mug punters.
Dangling the carrot ???

And how did the fav end up paying R2.70 for place on the tote, yet bookies had it priced at 17/10 at the off.

Youre a nutcase observer. but youre right with this. They need to find out where bets are being cancelled late and put an end to it.
