Blouperd I notice that you kept the wedding for yourself today and after the 2nd race you gave all and sundry an open invitation to a number of funerals, but i guess you were aware of the obvious peril that lay ahead by cutting your bets down from 20 grand to around 20 quid after the 2nd race that you had waited patiently for 2 months for, this is not only understandable but very wise on your part given how much harder it is to win when one has to place the bet before the race actually runs...your money management, self control and strength of restraint is something a lot of gamblers would do well to emulate, big up to you (tu)

I think there is a saying that goes...."missing the wedding and going to the funeral" which means missing the first bet and then backing the losers......I think
Hope this helps

Titch,we are the old school .............this kind of After Race dick waving would have had you banned from any discussions with the racing crowd I raced with ............also many posters post perms with lots of horses to come in remaining legs, only after a big payout is inevitable
AND my very favourite ...........poster who tips a winner, and if the applause isn't loud enough, poster then re-posts blowing wind up his own bum...................lol :S
