hollywood ???

I have forwarded this onto our IT team. It has something to do with the software and rounding off figures. I will get full details tomorrow. Hendrik - please PM your account number and I will rectify the balance. This is not something we are doing maliciously, and we will be taking it up with our software provider.

It has happened to me before as well. This is the scenario. If my balance is exactly R100 then the next moment it will be R99.98. It happens every time my balance is on a whole number.
I have now learned to not touch the cents and leave them where they are like R100.48. If I do this my balance does not change after every race result has been posted.

I have informed them and I was told it is because of the fractions when they deposit my foreign currency.

I'm sure they will sort it out, they are not skelms, they are a very competent business!

Its not a problem it just makes u wonder if now and then suddenly a few cent dissapear and appear again, thanks for the explanation guys!sorry if I offended any body

there is nothing to fix here and the techs wont be able to do a thing.there is also nothing malicious happening.

i am almost certain its about 3rd decimal places onwards and cumulative adding/deducting

same here, was also wondering, but really to phone about 5c not worth it

Just been thinking................ How does one end up with a 5c in the account.
Payments are always rounded up to the nearest 10c.

I queried this exact same thing a year back.cnt remember they guys name but he was some one higher up.he explained to me that their system rounds off to nearest 5c or 10c for example if u had have 500.05in ur account and place a bet with that balance it rounds it off to 500.10.was abit complex for my brain at the time coz I wasn't satisfied with the explaination.I went back n checkd my acc n realised he was rite.but then I noticed that if they round it to nearest 5c or 10c den y wasn't the potential payout also increased...he sed I have a point n will get back to me...well that was a year ago lol

Suggested I bet to the closest rand and have done so since then and haven't xperienced that issue again.

To be fair to Hollywood, I've often received a mysterious 1c. Even though I always play with it, it's always back 2 to 3 races later. Maybe it's some indication of "Big Brother's watching"

It just happened to me. I placed a bet and the balance was on a rounded amount, lets say R60.00. I just checked back and my balance is 20c less. Then I went into my account and the balance was back at R60.00, I then went back to the homepage and the 20c is once again gone.
