every single day in Countries all around the world people call in anonymously to Radio and TV stations and make comments about Government leaders, Sportsmen etc and yet nobody calls those stations Negative. I cannot understand why when it comes to horseracing if you have a comment like "I don't like trainer a or Jockey B" you are now negative. Betting is about having an opinion that differs from someone else but yet you cannot dislike a jockey's "riding style" or "trainer's program" without being negative?

Luke Harvey is also a nice guy,he was a very ordinary jockey and he knew it.Maybe there lies the trouble,you can't be nice in this sport.
You can't be nice in Formula One,Athletics or most sports.
I agree with your twitter comment,but this is a forum for debates about many topics and jockeys performances is a debating point.
In fact since he has had a few jibes,he has had a few winners.Maybe it's given him a " I will show them " attitude.

Seriously Dave,would you like a website where everyone pats people on the back and there's no critical posts.
The topics that are a bit controversial bring about the most posts.
The unknown posters is something you can deal with if you wanted too.

Dave I have no problem with the site and the way it's being run, the topic of the post was "negative website"
Many people use this as excuse not to post as its easier to find a way out rather than be held accountable.

Back in the days when the crowds thronged to the races and jockeys like Michael Roberts and Basil Marcus when losing on a popular favorite, what happened in the Parade Ring when they saddled up for the next race?

Dear members of the family were sworn at like fuck u, your ma's FUCK etc but inspite of all these NEGATIVITY from the NAMELESS masses who form part and parcel of the food chain, they rose like the phoenix from the ashes and went on to greater things abroad.

MJ could do himself a big favor and learn a bit from King Karl who nearly started a riot at Kenilworth on a weekday meeting back in the 90 's when losing on a string of favorites.

After all the negative feedback from the oncourse punters [nameless], he went on to boot the next 5 winners on the card.

If you cant stand the heat/criticism get the F&%@ out the kitchen !!! You as a jock are in the public eye (Big plus; money is involved) and we all know it. The whole racing industry is in the public eye as well. Not everyone involved in racing can be positive about everything, just like MJ with his moods etc ,we all live our game/passion with our very own thoughts on right and wrong. Thank G for that !! Grow up and use the criticism to your advantage and say thanks for the compliments.(and there are) This is applicable in life not just in racing. S no I am not at all its my PASSION. I love the animal, what an amazing gift we have been given. The rest just intrigues me, but so does human nature, and people in general. The good and the bad is all part of living ones life. P this whole thread would not have been under discussion if MJ had not had a go at ABC. He has opened himself up to be answered (neg or pos) by his actions.
