Andrew made a good move and got hold of Rob Bloomberg who in turn has given the local authority 48 hours to sort his clearance out or they will be receiving a letter from him in regards to loss of earnings etc... Given that the "Ringer" is in Andy's corner I would quite happily take any 6/10 that may be offered that Andrew will be taking rides at the next set of scratchings...(tu)(tu)(tu)

I wonder why Andy went into so much detail when giving the interview? Was it necessary? I'm not saying it was right or wrong, but to me this could have been avoided

The truth can always be avoided ...........and usually is.

I used to punt confidently on Mauritian racing but, using the same selection process found that this season it appeared something had changed(I shared this assessment with a forumite on the phone a while ago).............. seems I wasn't daft!
What would be interesting is a similarly,a very frank interview with Manna after he retires here ::o.............would love to hear his equally honest opinion of some of the local goings on :S

so what does that say about the NHRA if they respond positively to Bloomberg- Surely if a Racing district that you have an export agreement with has a problem with a Jockey you cannot just bin that - I think there may be more legs to this story than you think Titch - That interview is one of the most damaging things I've ever read about racing from an insider - Perhaps the NHRA should ask the Mauritians to send out a team to SA to Interview Fortune - It seems to me that Fortune could offer information that could clean up the game rather than being prosecuted for the usual"bringing racing into disrepute " soapie!

Richard Hughes had to sit out a 50 day suspension from Indian Stewards last year, despite the horse apparently being the culprit. His first ride of the British season was on May 1 and he was still over 40 clear at the end of the season on 172!
