There is absolutely no point telling the punters 30 seconds before a race starts that a trainer made a point of running up to you earlier to say his 50/1 shot is in with a shout. Especially when that trainer also has the favourite in the race.
:X:X:X
That was a pretty sh1t day lol and so end the jottings for a while!

I tried to word it so I wasn't blaming any individual Mr H.
But the whole product is in desperate need of a complete rethink.
I know it will cause offence to some for which I apologise, it is almost impossible to criticise a product overall without there being some inference towards individuals but what is told to the public and when needs to be addressed, and who by, the camera positions both during a race and on the line need to be reviewed and efforts made to make these as punter/commentator friendly as possible using whatever methods are at their disposal, who does what job in terms of presenting, tipping etc, the standard of commentators has to improve (if they need to go back to commentator school then send them back!), where they put the result up on screen needs to be changed (often impossible to even see a replay currently and the provisional result put up is often wrong anyway)... could go on and on all day... where's the TV clone of Hwood's Dev??? Anyone who says they can't liaise with clanners is talking from their @rse imho, I think Dev is a great example of how clanners appreciate a company making a real effort to communicate and give the service punters want and being appreciated in return. (Yes, yes Thor, you are the exception
< )
Rant over
Definitely no jottings tomorrow, rain about anyway I believe.
