Have you seen the conditions the jocks in the UK ride in? Man, they must get a lot of money to ride there day in and day out

Imo the problem is with the track (maybe LG can comment) - in the 'old' days it was even used a couple of times (if memory serves) to race on when the turf was too wet; it was then 're-sanded' at some stage and since then it can't take any rain - why is that ?

But as for today, I would not have wanted a horse I have an interest in, to race on that track (from what I could see on TV) - not with that huge hole at the 50m mark on the inside rail; safety of horse and rider must come first - the real issue imo is why is the track in the state it is?

As I posted before- if the track was polytrack we would be racing.........bottom line!

Elvis and myself and a couple of others are leasing Traveller's Cheque from Wilgerbosdrift

Just got home from track Went to back Pinot Noir track had a big hole was unsafe to race.
So much for the geniuses that said the reason for getting track was to ensure no abandonment for racing
