Worrying indeed - I was under the impression that the rain was not that heavy - so who knows what would happen if they get a real downpour like 50 mills? And since when has the meerkat been a protected species? Are we going to have a horse(s) step into a hole and the jock(s) injured (or worse) before something is done about it?
