Rowdy, lmao... shaking head... you can only be stirring cos that comment just made me roar with laughter. If I had studied last night I would have done so expecting very soft or heavy going, at 8am today the pen reading shows it only to be slightly softer than good. I would have studied twice and wasted a lot of good time. Get something changed for the better my friend and then the same sh1t won't be written every day, that is the way forward, moan, moan and moan again until something is done. But, thank you very kindly for giving me my first good laugh of the day (:D

Charles puts whatever is given to him by course managers the day before the racemeeting on to the system

So I spoke to the chief course manager and he said he is prepared to send everything through the day before (the rainfall will be sent through at 4pm and put on to the system asap by Charles and his team) with the exception of the pen reading.

He is not prepared to send through the pen reading the day before for the reason that in the past he has received abuse from clueless members of the public when minimal rain significantly alters the pen reading overnight.

Tipster, let us try and be positive and say it is a move in the right direction and thanks for your time and help. I have to say though that taking "abuse" from idiots is much better than taking "abuse" from people who want the correct info and are smart enough to look at the weather forecast. Please ask the course manager will reconsider, it really does make a huge difference. Today being a prime example. I literally finished looking at the form 5 minutes before racing commenced, I did not have a lot of time today and have not looked at the form as well as I would have liked. I have not had time to formulate bets I would like. Had I known the going last night I would have studied last night and all would have been well.

No problem at all Tipster but I can't promise I won't moan in the interim B)- I really do find it incredibly frustrating and, in truth, unacceptable.

Thanks again for your efforts (tu)
