Pick Six first timer rule???? W T F?

My question is, How is it possible that the race went official, at R100k and then 20minutes later went provisional and then official with adjusted dividend At R18k. I thought that once a race has been closed all cross checks with auditors have taken place and result stands.

How is it possible that they are able to re-open an official result.

How often does this happen, leaves many open cracks in the system????

Rattex I remember not that long ago at I think the Vaal the 3rd and 4th were called incorrectly during the race the result was posted incorrectly as called and then went official for about 15 minutes before correcting it.
