Thanks for the detailed explanation - at least there seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel (tu)

Interesting - but I do not agree
I think Formation will win, but not by much from Brooks Club (ran to 106 last time on my ratings) - The Mouseketeer looks held to me by these two.
Jackodore is beatable - only race on the sand was way back as a 3 yr old when she disappointed to run 3rd at 9/10 - so I'm hoping to beat her out of the Bi-Pot and maybe even the PA
IF WE RACE (tu)

Yes, big thanks Louis, it makes such a difference to attitude and understanding when someone "in the know" provides a detailed explanation on the issue and does not try to hide the truths. The rest of the racing world would do well to follow your example Louis, it would hopefully bring a swift end to much of the negative speculation which can prevail on this site (for which I make no apologies for being one of those who can instigate it), rightly so in my opinion when no information is provided. Like a breath of fresh air when I read posts such as that (tu)

I am with Winning Post as regards Brookes Club. I will be surprised if he troubles the judge here. The Mousketeer if fit will win... but the layoff a concern. Across The Ice... 6 attempts at the distance without success ... Formation probably a Bipot banker and hopefully Acroos the Ice and Brookes Club finish out the bipot ....
Jackodore eminently beatable imo (but not if you an MR believer ... then she should be put and take)

Nice tough card today, exotics looks set to pay.
My best bet on the card comes up in Race 7 with 2 Chipnputt. He ran an excellent first race on the surface losing by just over a length to Levanto who then won by nearly 15 lengths next time out. His next start it looked like the 1800 meters was too far for him and I feel the drop in trip to 1450 will suit him perfectly. With the reserve runners coming out he moves into stall gate 7 and at 14/1 looks a great EW bet. He is not bumping the strongest of fields and I expect him to go very close today.
I also really like Jolly Good Sir in the 6th. He is in top form at the moment and has a light weight to shoulder even though Shermin put a 0,5kg over. As long as this race hasn't come too soon he should be right there at the finish. Louis runner is an obvious danger but she has to conceed plenty of weight to Jolly Good Sir.
I will be playing an EW yankee today on:
Race 4: 3 Soft Sand
Race 6: 14 Jolly Good Sir
Race 7: 2 Chipnputt
Race 8: 6 Incentive Girl.
Play well. (tu)

Let's hope we have better luck than last night - and again I agree on Chip 'n Putt being good value; hoever I will oppose Inventive Girl with Cerise Silk - better drawn this time and could be hard to peg back if she gets to the front (tu)
