Cormack wacked Tellina on the head and was closing in at the finish and here the winner was going away at the finish. Neither would have beaten her.

so there is no shadow of doubt that if not for this the 2nd and 4th horse would have finished in front of the winner?

Nope...just replying to saldiani...

actually would prefer the 2nd horse getting it but if the letter of the rule is followed it should never get it as the winner was travelling far better than it...

SILVANE SPRING should have finished 3rd , now after interference ended 5th place , winner caused that, remember the JULY when Space walk was given first place after eventual winner Surfing home caused interverence to pas de quoi who ended 5th
