LOL Hibs! Yes, he did make his 200th catch ... Jadeja off the bowling of Duminy ... that cricket ball looked like a plum in those big hands of his. If he was a wicketkeeper, he wouldn't need gloves, that man.

Guys if your'll believe that Kallis is the reason we are rsnked no.1 in the world, dream on. As much as he was a great player our team will still klap the Ausies without him. I say it again we have depth and your'll can believe whatever your'll want. Just look back these last few seasons and if you can honestly say that Kallis is responsible for our ranking then he is irreplaceable. But we all know better. He was good but it's time to move on. SA cricket will keep growing.

And if you think that Kallis can be replaced at the drop of a hat, dream on - by the way who are 'we all' :S

its a pity that there is such a small crowd to watch kallis play in his final test match for the no.1 ranked team against the no.2 team.if this test was at newlands it would have been a sell out crowd!in australia they getting full houses for 2 lower ranked test teams.

Gooseflesh stuff when Kallis walked to the crease.... for all the doubting Thomas's.... you don't get that kind of respect from your peers by being mediocre !!

Some people just don't seem to get it, even when it is all right there before them :S So. let's try to make this easy...

who is going to take JK's batting spot? (with equal success?)
who is going to take JK's bowling spot? (with equal success?)
who is going to take JK's slip spot? (with equal success?)

Use more than one name in answering the above questions and the light might, but sadly it seems it is only a might, begin to dawn lol

Englander, there is only one name to fit into all 3 places. Ask Jacque not to retire and then put his name there!:D There is no one else close to fitting into all those places.

Pity for Jaques that they don't have a MR system for cricket...............he could play until he is 60.............just keep restricting the bowling side to overcome the dwindling athleticism......................(:D

If he played his whole career in KZN he would be 3 time winner MR 139
