The 3rd horse was desperate, not sure how much the winner actually had left? looked like he won very easily, but put under pressure from the 3rd early i feel would have been hard pushed to hold on...

I feel it was a decent ride,if ubacked the fav, coz going was shit on inside and he was drawn 2 and he gave his horse a chance 2 win.. The drift, imo wasn't alarmingly bad where as to threathen a feelow jocks or horses life, and he was always well clear of the field in order 2 make any horses behind him really lose stride. If he had stayed on the inside and fin 2nd again, all hell wouldve broken loose as 2 how he pulled the horse, or wat a shi ride, heknows going better on inside or he is old he must retire, etc, etc. If u do u damned, if u don't ur damned

I was rooting for Fortune to win & win he did but no mention of a race review of anything drastic picked up by the commentator?

Do they still sound the hooter for an enquiry...................................one long blast?

Between the 500 m and 300 m MAGIC CLOUD (*X Carstens) was carried outwards by HEADSTRONG HARRY (A Fortune), which shifted out. Approaching the 300m CAPE SISKIN (R Fourie) and JUDAH THE PRINCE (G Behr) had to steady when tightened for galloping room on the outside of HEADSTRONG HARRY (A Fortune), which continued to shift outwards. AL MAHARA (G van Niekerk), which was following was switched inwards to continue its run off the heels of CAPE SISKIN (R Fourie) and bumped TIBET (G Wright), which led to both AL MAHARA (G van Niekerk) and TIBET (G Wright) becoming unbalanced. BLACK AGATE (K Neisius), which was positioned behind these two horses had to steady as a result. Jockey A Fortune (HEADSTRONG HARRY) was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7, in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to a number of runners when he shifted out in the latter stages. Jockey A Fortune signed an admission of guilt and was suspended from riding in races for a period of two weeks. (Dates to be advised)
AL JARREAU (F Anthony) was baulked for a clear run from the 500 m to the 300 m.
