Brett Crawford has been on fire in feature races this season.

Of the three ,the choice is easy for me ..................MOMF has delivered its reputation in spades!..................the other 2 have used up more excuses than a cheating wife!

Momf seems to be higher up in the pecking order of these horses, they all get intimidated when racing against him. it's gonna be hard to find something to beat him because its not about ability but dominance.

I would not write off Jackson; I think he is at best over this 2000 and has been prepared specifically for the Met; I did not really expect him to win the QP over the 1600; having said that MomF has shown that he is the real deal and is going to make J run. Imo Cape Town Noir ran his race in the QP and taking his Cape Derby win last year into account, I believe he is better over less ground; can't really see anything causing an upset like last year but if there is to be one, it could come from Jet Explorer (seems to have had the ideal prep); originally I also fancied a bit of Ice Machine, but his run in the QP was very disappointing, so he may have gone over the top :S

I believe over 2000m, Jackson will be a certain factor.
Titch came up with a very interesting selection "King of Pain". THIS could really be the nice surprise in the race. Nicely spotted!!!

If Jet Explorer touted as possible winner then Whiteline Fever right there too! Fastest time after JE 400mt to finish in Queens Plate after being dropped out after start and jock was hardly trying!

the best horse in the race will win the met.if you believe that momf is the best horse in the race, then back it,i cant have it, because it has never been over 2000m,its trainer has never won the met,it hasnt faced this class of horses b4,and its jock has never won a met.
i make ctn a serious runner, but i cant back it because it has stamina doubts and its jock has never won the met.
jackson ticks all the right boxes, but he has disapointed on many big days,he does have a very good jock and trainer and has won 3 gr1 races in his time.
best outsiders would be jet explorer and whatever tarry has running in the race, because tarry has the ability to win these major feature races with less fancied horses.how he does it only he knows!

its a tough choice, but ive narrowed it down to jackson and ctn.i dont think momf will make the frame, but i wont be surprised if he does win it.

Jackson IS the best horse in the race. Even if he loses the race he is STILL the best horse :)

I have always been a fan of Jackson. Stunning animal. For what its worth Glen Hatt is very bullish about his prep and chances to win the Met. I think he will be followed by MOMF, CTN, Jet Explorer and No Worries.
