Panama Man : Has been in sprints for the majority of his career but tries 1450m in race 5 Clairwood this afternoon. may have needed his last outing when not finishing off over 1200m @ Clairwoood last month and running 4.8lengths behind Midnight Run. If one one looks to July 27, he ran over 1300m @ Greyville and he performed very nicely behind J&B Met hopeful Lake Arthur.

Be Assured : An 8 year old who has not lost his zest for racing and could make it win #7 in race 7. He has run in features and his last run came in the Listed Golden Loom Handicap over 1000m when finishing a 4,5 lengths behind Copper Parade. at Turffies.

Shelly's Connection
: Young Shadlee Fortune claims 4kg's and he could ride his 1st winner in race 8. This runner has had no luck in her last few runs and with a change in fortune she could finally enter the winner's enclosure.

PS : Not my own jottings> Just thought i should share.

I will probably go with Jamboree in the last but I do think if Lady Carter can overcome the 1 draw then she could be a big runner, at 12/1 she is possibly worth a go

Race 1 Promising (nice draw)

Race 2 Seven carat (slow out the machine last time)

Race 3 Can-can-Inn (forgive last poor run)

Take the treble and enjoy the Met!!

Good luck Dean. I see she is already 5yo, but only had 9 runs. Also last time against stronger and today back against her own sex, so must have a chance.......
