Its amazing to me that constructive criticism is taken in a negative light by Tellytrack, talk about backward thinkers

It is just so very sad for me when talent is over-looked, ignored, or dis-carded. It just makes our beloved industry so much the poorer !!

Do be careful, Onyerway, you could just have given him the Kiss of Death.

Variety. Variety. Variety.
Why remove the one specialist ? And I don't think that it was a John Stuart standalone decision....!

Hi everyone. Whilst I really appreciate all the posts which have done much to cheer me up, and make me feel that there might still be life in this old dog, I have some good news to report, and that is that I have been telephoned by John Stuart, who, in all fairness, apologised for the fact that he has not reverted to me, attributing it to the enormous pressures which he and Tellytrack have been facing in recent times, which have kept his nose to the grindstone.
As he said, had I left messages to return my calls with the Tellytrack switchboard, which has been my conduit, he would have been prompted to get back to me sooner. I suppose I should have put my pride in my pocket and been a bit more assertive about requesting a telephone response, which is easier than responding to an E-mail.
He explained that he has had to get a new international channel up and running within a matter of weeks, rather than months, which it would normally take. He also stated that the fact that the new look Tellytrack will be featuring racing from South Africa solely will demand a great many more filler programmes and magazine shows, which will significantly increase the demand on my services as an insert producer, which is good news, as that is an area of endeavour which I really enjoy. There may be other work in the pipeline, but whether it will involve presenting, in any shape or form, remains to be seen.
So, once again, a very big thank you for your heartening support and for the many words of wisdom which have been posted. I really appreciate the trouble taken by so many good people to let me know that my work does not go unappreciated.
Meanwhile, it's off to an audition tomorrow morning for a big new production, in July, of the musical "Spamalot", which is based loosely on Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I haven't appeared on stage in quite a while and it would be a nice diversion prancing about as a decrepit Knight of the Round Table. Maybe I'm too decrepit, but what a pleasant diversion it would be.

Yes, maybe they'll cast me as the chap who gets both arms and both legs chopped off.
"It's nothing, just a flesh wound!!".
