I agree it`s obscene the wages the top stars are paid,especially the over rated English players...

But if the players didnt get the money the clubs would be making obscene amounts of money,so i suppose the biggest assets should recieve the cash,especially at a club like UTD that pay their players within their means and don`t go into debt to pay wages..

The EPL have just signed a massive contract for TV rights,so the clubs will only improve and the players will get even richer over the next few seasons

the teams that score the most from that deal are the Man Uniteds Man City Chelsea Liverpool and Arsenal as they have most live matches over the season. The more matches you have live the more money you get and that's another reason why the big teams get bigger (although Man City and Chelsea have more money than most countries in the world)

The better question is, which position would JM rather be in? City 3 points off Chelsea with game in hand, and quarter final of FA Cup.
I know which one I would choose.
