Two runners today.
Race 4 : Be Fabulous slipped and fell on the concrete back in July, suffering a deep abrasion, hence the long layoff. She appears to have recovered fully. She has had 2 gallops, but Glen feels she may need this run. She is a very nice fiilly and even if 90% fit, she may be better than this field. Andrews gets the ride in recognition for the work he puts in at the yard and he knows her well.
A very open race, with Cosmonauta and Stride Out looking the two to beat. Good thinking has draw 1 and would also be no surprise.
Race 8: Spanish Tiger. Had some shin problems after his win in October. Ran a pleasing race last time when needing it. Silver Salver is unbeaten and could be anything, so perhaps the rest of us are racing for second. Besides the favourite a very open race, and no reason why we can't run a place here.
A beautiful summers day in CT, although the South Easter is expected to pick up later so a brisk headwind expected.
2 very nice juvenile races kick off the bipot, and the top 2 in the betting in both will be enough to get through.
Race 5 is a competitive sprint. Sail South and Tiger Tiger have good form. Exelero is well in at the weights but returns from gelding and may need a run and perhaps better over further, but has the class to win here if running well fresh.
Race 6 Very open race. My mad bet here is Crown of Gold at 40/1. At the weights he has most of the fancied runners beat if he runs to his best form, and he gets the trip.
Race 7 Jet Belle to win from Lanner Falcon and Priceless Jewel
Race 9 an impossible race for punters. Field leg if you can afford it.

you were correct...but I don't know why they don't let the horse run and settle instead of fighting it for 800 metres...
