Wont even race Thursday the way its been raining as forecast is for more rain this whole week...

Saturday must also be in serious doubt when looking at how the course was cutting up at the start of the rain.

maybe when we all dead and gone some bright spark will say hey why dont we investigate the possibility of getting the racetracks covered in case we have major rain as surely if they could have sent people to the moon in the 20th century they could have thought about this in the 21st century >:D<

Pirates, you are so correct. I had 800m of covers at my private track at Hartebeespoort in the late 90's and never lost a days work. All it needs is some effort.....

stuff knows Pirates - horses galloped at about 08h15 and meeting was immediately abandoned, by latest, 08h18, i would say.

I'd say it was impossible to have 72 mm of rain leaving the track 'good to soft' - I would assume a communications stuff-up as per usual
