Interesting game imo - the travel factor is against the Blues, and the weather could also play a part - the way the Blues play I think that dry conditions would suit them better; no doubt the Bulls are going to try to keep it simple: win their own lineouts, be competitive on the Blues' lineout and play the kicking game (backed up by their defensive patterns) - so probably the wetter the better for the Bulls.

Auckland does have a lot of wet weather so the blues won't be too c

I know, chicken, and I'm not saying they will struggle in the wet, but the way they play, I do think they would prefer It dry :S

It's part of the game and they do it well (especially with Matfield back) - last week the Lions tried to match them in the first half and got 'out-kicked', then they (incorrectly) changed to running the ball in the wet conditions and things went from bad to worse.

i knew there was a logical reason for the Lions loss (

YS, as you probably know I am a Lions supporter, but let's not kid ourselves, the SA teams (except for the Sharks) look outclassed by the NZ teams (definitely) and by most the of the Aussie teams; the Stormers were lucky to beat the 'Canes, so I think they are going to have a tough tour starting this weekend - the Cheetahs got whipped by Rebels, who everybody thought would be (at best) the 2nd weakest Aussie side - so I won't be surprised if 4 SA franchises end up towards the bottom of the log

Bulls must have looked at this game at the beginning of the season and pencilled in a 5 pointer. Weather may force them to change that to a guaranteed 4 pointer. Bulls by 15 easily as Blues don't know what to do at flyhalf. (tu)
Crusaders, Rebels and Sharks to win in a canter. Don't write off the Cheetahs this weekend as you usually bounce back for their second game on tour. (tu)

shrek let me remind you what you wrote last week prior to the Blues mauling of the Crusaders
quote Crusaders giving Dagg a break putting him on the bench as they see this as a game they can rest players. I am sure they wished it came up later in the season. With the Lions doing well the Blues must be worried about gettting the wooden spoon. We could be in for a cracking game when the Blues play the Rebels. the finger smiley unquote
you doing it again big fella. You are writing off the Blues at your own peril as come the final whistle I am going to give it to you in bunches

One of us will be very happy (shrek) on Saturday and one sad (CnC). Looking forward to the game should be a tough encounter. (tu)
