Best bet of the weekend is raees. He has a turn of foot like lightning and the extra week up in gauteng would of did him a world of good as he would have got used to the altitude by now. 3/1 is a great price. I think he's divisions above this class.

Treadmills - definitely - MDK, Sean Tarry, Paul Peter at Vaal.
Overall, my yard hard hit by rain, as we very careful about track conditions and our approach to fitness easily derailed by loss of finishing work. However, track staff here have really tried hard and have assisted with plan b and c, wherever possible, eg by fluffing up the outside of the back stretch of the sand course, for runners.
We also got a good blow into some of todays runners, after the last on thursday, on the sand course front stretch. Bah blew heavily, Move Like Jagger worked out of his socks. Triptease has been aimed at the Man o War on 29th for a while now and I only nominated him on last friday, for today, because last saturday's meeting was under severe threat. I have left him in today, because I just dont trust the weather between now and the 29th. He will have to be at his very best to take on Chekilli over there. I have done basic steady canters with him this week, with the goal of 29th in mind. Having said all of this, I do expect him to be a bit better than last week, if he handles the turn today and is handily placed. De Var Hyt is showing some improvement on the eye and could complete the quartets. He has also just cantered this week, though.
So, we do our best for stakes today and will take whatever comes our way with both hands.

all 3 our horses travelled well and ate well and they fit .....very poor draws and no collateral form to rate them....taking on the big boys...
no ticket no chance and owners happy to see them race.
(and we just bought a horse by coincedence ...we got a lift from the offloading area and horse was bought before we got off 300m away lol)
just love this game , we came with 3 and going home with 4
