I don't mind eating humble pie. But I prefer to rather pay up! Would you care to put a decent sum of money at risk to back your opinion? I would be happy to take you on as per my post/your post. A third party could hold the cash pending the outcome.

I don't have any problem with that, I give you the two that will win you beat the odds of my bookie and the cash is yours, no problem and then I will have a bit of pie with your money

I think you are misunderstanding my offer or trying to duck out with your dignity intact.
You stated in writing that ......"MDK will have at least two winners on the night"............
My position is that I do not believe South African horses will have ANY wins on the night. Stated very clearly in my post.
To the best of my knowledge only MDK & J Ramsden have runners so I am giving you the benefit of two trainers for the price of one. I am also not placing you under any pressure to even nominate which horses will win - something that you would be required to do with your bookmaker.
So our wager would look something like this :
If the SA horses score 0 wins I get the money. (We may want to identify all of the SA runners before the event to avoid disputes)
If ANY of the SA horses win you get the money.
It's got absolutely nothing to do with offering you better odds than your bookmaker as it is an entirely different bet. Furthermore it is illegal for me to offer you odds on a horse without a license. Ours is simply a private agreement. You are very welcome to punt horse by horse to cover your position outside of this arrangement but be aware that if my view is vindicated you end up getting what is known as the 'double f**k' in the betting industry.
I suggest we each put up R10,000. More if you prefer. What do you say?

Garrick, the Americans have been very poor at the World Cup meeting since moving to the tapeta surface at Meydan.
In total, American trained horses have won 2 times from 36 starts at the meeting, and no American trained horse has ever won on the grass in Dubai. They did have a couple of places in the Duty Free, Sheema Classic and Al Quoz back in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2010, but that's it.
