Festival of fire a good horse but did not runned to her ability. I know I'm gonna push my head in a bee hive but I want to see it get beaten by Break of Dawn, Uptoythemoon , Love Vivien or Paschal Moon.
I will take the whole tray of eggs if I'm wrong!!

you have now tipped 3 horses and what a surprise they are all favourites

1 has lost the next won and now lets see.

When you tip over 1000 winners on ABC then you can catch a brag. Until then stop bragging about tipping up favourites as even my parrot can do that.

I was under the impression that R Fourie was injured? I see that he is riding today?

Just been told to be careful of the track.
The going might be better on the outside.
Can anyone confirm?

On the inside track, lets see if anything goes to the outside down the strip....

Quick recovery - long way to come for 4 rides :S

Some thoughts:

R2: Stirling Leaves has had many chances and no value at odds-on from a wide draw - see there is money for the first-timer Alley Dancer - needs inclusion in the BP from a good draw imo

R3: La Tasca backed as if the result is on the board - strange jockey arrangement, but could be a 'reward' for doing some work riding, must be taken seriously especially as the stables of the main dangers have been decidedly quiet since the rain break

R4: Looks a 2 horse contest; Wellesley probably not really suited to the inside track, but has the advantage over Prophet of War having had a more recent run; not a lot between Bow 'n Arrow and Dynamite Jim, but these both look held by the two principles

R5: Fillies and mares sprint, where Delighted does look the right one - but lack of course form and a recent run could see her fluff her lines, Regal Rose has had a recent run, but has a diabolical draw, Howhighcanufly has 3 places from 3 tries this trip, so needs consideration depiste maybe needing a gallop, Boarding Call won last week in Kimberley, so will be fit and ready - money for Spring Blaster means she needs consideration as well

R6: Another open looking fillies and mares contest, Lady Muffet could feature if fit enough and Silva Shama is in good form and ran another fair race on Tuesday, poor draw is against her along with Dona Datia who has fair form here; for me Erin needs to do more and Serruria has a lot to find at the weights - Bags of Boodles would also enter calculations but for the Gray stable really looking out of sorts since the rains

R7: Everything points to Festival of Fire, ideally suited to this trip and best rated in a Pinnacle Stakes, looks hard to beat, not a lot between all of Jackodore, Uptothemoon and Love Vivien , so any of these could pick up the pieces should FoF fluff her lines; Break of Dawn and Pashal Moon probably next best

R8:Open handicap where Bee Keeper has found form and has the advantage of having had a fair run on Saturday; Vino Nero also had a fair run on Tuesday, so fitness wise these two stand out; Victorinox pipped by BK recently, so must be considered as well; Don Vito another from the Gray stable who looks to have bright chance on paper, but the stable's recent form is a concern for me. Chipnputt probably not at best at this track and Rand Clun has more to do imo

R9: Hawaiian Sun all the rage, I would like to see that he gets the 1600 before jumping in at odds on; Microstate the obvious danger after being nabbed on the line last time, and may be the main reason why Fourie is coming to Joh'burg; Lesley Strong jumps from pole position and looks the value here to me having had a recent run and also has some fair form at this track

R10: Spiaggia does look the part, Pepperdine was supported on debut and could be the main danger if not needing the run

Enjoy :S

Racing returns to the Highveld where we are still a bit concerned regarding the training plans of especially the larger yards due to the recent weather conditions,

For this reason we do still expect a BIG exotic payout today and have gone slightly wider in the exotics,

Still atleast 4 days of FREE ratings available so do spread the word please!

Have a great day at the races,

Grab them for FREE, they have been quite reasonable
