jeez you do throw your net far and wide re your sports betting. I only bet on the football, not too much on the cricket, sometimes on American Football, and only in the big Golf weeks and grand slam tennis.

As I said, this multiple was on a whim...last bet of the day last night...looked at prices, looked at H2H and took 30 leg multiple !!!

I have caught one 30 leg multiple and one 28 leg multiple before...much better odds than this one (I think one was +-130/1 and the other about 170/1...just got lucky...)...but I've lost many many in between...I record almost every bet I take (that's the accountant in me !!) so I know when things are going well and when to back off for a little while...:)

I would never ever keep score of my bets as I live in the hills and there are some steep waterfalls around.

One out :(...team lost 17-15 (led 9-6 at one stage) in 5th set of volleyball match after coming back from 2-1 down...today was another day and see that some of the tennis bets I took came in so things good again...swings and roundabouts (isn't that what a traffic circle is called in the UK?...a roundabout...)

Yes they are called roundabouts. There is a roundabout in Swindon, close to Swindon Town football club that has 4 roundabouts within the one

@cnc...I stayed in Reading when I worked in England for KPMG in 2001...took a long time to get used to being on the freeways (motorways ??) and arriving at a multiple lane "roundabout"...and with no GPS navigation system, it was fun trying to pick which exit to take...twice ended up in farms and once went west when I needed to be north !!! Interesting time that year was...

Went to Madejski stadium and watched Reading a play a match on a Friday night and got to watch Man Utd play West Ham and Bolton at Old Trafford...soccer is almost tribal in England...

Also went to Stade de France to watch France play Scotland and to Italy to watch Roma play a match against ?? (cannot remember)...got to see a Robbie Williams concert in Belgium and nearly died of the cold when I went up to Durham...tried to do as much as possible whilst I was there as it is just too costly to travel from SA and do many touristy things...

Always give way to the right. Easy to get into London from Reading on the M4 there stadium is just off the m4 you can see it from the motorway. I have also been to Ot on a number of occasions. Great stadium when United are losing because it empties out fast.

We have traffic circles here also...in fact, in the town I stay in, there is only ONE robot / traffic signal...but multiple traffic circles / roundabouts...

Found it easier to take the train into London rather than drive to and around London...traffic is much worse there than in JHB...

I also went west on the M4 towards Bath and Castle Coombe and ended up in Wales...saw the impressive Millenium Stadium...pity there was no match there at the time when I went...

Thoroughly enjoyed my time in England but my tan (:P) was beginning to suffer from a lack of hot sunshine...so, when I got offered a longer term post, I declined...no regrets...
