Just think.... that this guy had all the budget and the go ahead to employ staff to carry out all the necessary job specifications under his control.....but chose a pay hike and opted to do it all himself.....:S

If you look at the main players ie Jooste,Van Niekerk and Kantor,it is reasonable to assume that all three are very good businessmen and therefore understand the value of good management ...................is there an agenda in allowing "P" to have so many shortcomings in that area?

I don't agree Muhti.............successful people are seldom indifferent to poor performance of any sort ................it is not in their nature!
It is contrary to the way they achieved and to be linked to poor management is an affront!

Not quite true...losses from certain secondary trades are not allowed to be set-off against taxable income from other primary trades...ring-fenced and 3 in 5 year rule applied...ie. secondary trade must be profitable in 3 of last 5 years to allow set-off...

Do you think for a moment that these captains of industry are worried about not getting a picture in a few days time....if there is an alternative the already have it....they have been kept in the picture and are all sorted no need for them to have any concern...long as they have places to run their horses all is fine......

Absolutely. All of Jooste, van Niekerk and Kantor are not only captains of industry but are non-executive directors of Phumelela Gaming and have much vested interests in thoroughbred stud farms. Jooste is the #39 most weathiest in Africa Forbes Magazine - that is if African lists count for anything.
