Karl is top class and I also thought 7/2 opening price was rather generous of the turf accountants

The Cape Town Hoodoo is CTN's biggest opponent - if he can overcome the 'altitude factor', he clearly is the horse to beat, for me based on the performance up here of previous 'champions from Slaapstad', I'd be looking elsewhere ....the 'turf accountants' clearly have some doubts as well :S

Is that horse from the Lord of the Rings? You are going to get Frodo excited.

What :
Is there a horse in that story - suppose I will have to read the book (or watch the movie) some day; anyway I'm taking a leaf out of Sly's book and changing my name to Gandolph - on account of me being such a wiz on the ponies (
)

Don't remember it too well. Wasn't there a part where those 6 or 7 guys in black (like ghosts) on horses with eyes like that were looking for you and the ring?

History says a mile is about the limit without need for acclimatisation...............if he is racing fit ,he can win and would think he wouldn't travel unless he was.(wouldn't bank him though)
If it was any further I wouldn't touch him!
