Runner in race 8:
Blarney Bay won well last time and has been given a 4kg penalty for that. He draws well, and MJ keeps the ride. He has been working well and should be spot on for today. This field is a class stronger than those he beat last time, but he has a decent winning chance. The going will not be a problem for him.
Kannemeyer has a strong hand in this race and his three together with Our Jet and Shishangeni look the main dangers in a competitive race.

Classy Fighter cannot be ruled out. last 2 runs was in handicaps and ran on very well.
