Jehan Malherbe is the top caller imvho...he calls without frills and even in close calls he usually gets it right although he "plays it safe" mostly by allowing the judge to confirm the finish.

If u saw the running of race 7 at scottsville u will see why graig peters are not called eagle eye for nothing

Top comentator!! Always has been.
Jehan also very good.
Clyde Basel excellent comentator,can pick out a horse along way out.
Nico/alistar have got along way to go to get close to the above 3

If u listened properly clyde did not call the winner in the commentry. On the slow mo he thought cTN go up because of the angle. He is def the best caller in SA

The same situation arises with sports like soccer as well. The guest commentators are somethings so blatantly biased, it's actually a disgrace.

How are those Aussie cricket/rugby commentators ? The worst !
Our racing commentators are stars compared to Sweedish harness racing ! Nothing wrong with our boytjies well except maybe old Dumpie. Most entertaining though !
