For now that's true, but maybe in the near future Springboks will follow the All Blacks and Aussies and only pick local players? and with Lambie injured i still think Frans Steyn is a good option at flyhalf for the test series against Wales. Im not judging Vermuelens ability just that he is not fit like last year (or it seems that way with the extra tyre he's carrying)...

And it's not a small sedan tyre...more like a 4X4 tyre...reminds me of the fitness problems Frans Steyn had when he came back to the Sharks after he was injured...
