Had some nice steady rain in Alberton for the past couple of hours. Should take a bit of the hardness out of the ground and make conditions perfect for Saturday.

It is my opinion that Green Crest will earn well for his connections in his career ... decent horse. Have not looked at the card but it went straight into my notebook after debut. The two previous ones I did that with was Soft Falling Rain and Boarding Call...... and they have both treated me rather well.

hi all

nice races to look forward to B)-

Although Via Africa and Louis the King are top top horses in their own right, they look slightly exposed imo. if all things go their way, and it absolutely must! then they will be hard horses to beat!

Banaadeer looks very progressive
and is so fast, so I am hoping that HE will anchor the P6 for us all.

the 9th race will be tricky---chuck in
as many as you can.

the top four in the merit rating
should dominate race 7

Rakes chestnut looks good each way value in the 1st

Majmu should blitz this field easily

Orators daughter is in the form of her life..stick with her!!

Zehpira looks too lonely in this race and that worries me....to banker or not?...that is the question

in the last race it will be lotto numbers as all horses carded will make a bold showing if in the mood

all in all it will be a great day if LOUIS can be crowned the REAL 2014 KING of racing in SA....go you beauty X(

Really fancy Carry On Alice to upset Banaadeer. 2 year old fillies are generally more forward than the boys and they get their fillies allowance. The last 2 fillies on the 29th March and 11 April were around 5 to 6 lengths faster than the colts. Even though there was no Banaadeer in those races with the 2,5kg's allowance I recon the 7,69/1 looks great value. I prefer her to Flame Cat even though she received 3kg's the last time they met she won so well and I recon the 1160 will suit her better.
