Well said Rowdy. Despite a couple of poor decisions by the ref Liverpool should still have come out tops.

Rodgers must take some responsibility, needed an extra defender in the last 10 minutes, he underestimated Palace. No excuses, well done to Palace, really a great comeback when they looked out of sorts throughout the game.

Rodgers showed that he lacked experience,he didn't need to attack Chelsea last week,a draw would have been a great result.
PL would have still been in their own hands and that defeat started all the doubts in their minds.
Chelsea needed to win that game to have any chance,Rodgers should have sat back and counter attacked, they have enough pace up top.

Must say, that when Hibs started this thread, I thought he was smoking something. I admit not knowing my soccer as well as my rugby nowadays, but have been a Liverpool supporter since 1975, in the days of Keegan, Clemence etc.
Last 20 odd years havent been that good and now we go and fluff it at the death. Last night, I switched off after we were comfortably clear at 3-0 and Saurez was smiling and the team were running wild, having pot shots at goal and in total control.

Just could not believe Scott Kenny this am at track, when he told me we had drawn. Still thinking that he was winding me up, I immediately logged onto my info site, called ABC and checked....

Hope we dont have to wait another 20 odd years to be this close.....or to make C&C this happy.... or to call Hibs a prophet....

Not a LFC supporter ( My grandson loves em) but I feel sorry for all the work the forwards have done to be let down by the defence. The number of goals they have shipped was gonna bite them at sometime. Seems like they blaming the central defence but IMO another culprit through the season has been the "lauded" Johnson. They go on about his runs but how many time has he left the defence exposed by being out of position. Would have been nice for them to have had some of the "SHANKS" glory.
Still an excellent season for them tho.
