@Lionel...Thanks...learnt discipline the hard way...from making lots of losses...thinking like an accountant now...and it has done me a lot of good...

Reviving this thread only because, to my horror, I find myself in exactly the same position. I had my account limited at BetXchange a few weeks ago, but thankfully they still accept my bets via telephone.

WSB however, started giving me the exact same "maximum liability exceeded" message. When I call in my bets, they will only accept a liability of R500 max. I emailed them, and got the exact same response as the original poster.

Gutted. Not sure really why this would happen other than I have had a nice winning run over the last month or two. Not anything major - checked my records and total profit at WSB over 2 months is about R20k. I've been down by much more. At BetXchange my account is running at an overall loss but I have had 2 good months betting mostly on rugby and soccer, with a few horses in-between. No major big wins - just slow, steady profit. I guess the bottom line is that you're not allowed to show any consistent winning form.

Big question is WHY? Seems very arb and they refuse to give reasons other than "we reserve the right blah blah".

Since ww went Auto GREENIE on 01 November I believe it will happen even more regularly now. Place SR has improved by 11% and win SR by 13 % with GREENIES now being picked automatically using 15 additional rules after the initial rating (the original rating of 82 rules)
