Runners today:
Race 5: Goldandsilver. She is better than her last run (we found a small problem post race now sorted), and will appreciate the extra 200m. Very open race with many nice fillies on the upgrade. Soft going complicates further. Each way value at 20/1. Red Disa and Hot Affair look the ones to beat.
Race 8: Careless Love. We fancied her to win last time- reared as gates opened and lost ground at start. Ran on very well from hopeless position. Should win today. Sweet Carolyn and Casey's Jet next best. Hi Lana improving.
Other races:
Race 2: Georgeous Gaby will never get a better chance than this to win her maiden. Looks a bipot and PA banker.
Race 3: Captainofmysoul very well in at the weights, but may find 1000m short. Would be a banker if this was 1200m. Savannah Song is very consistent and with the 4kg claim is a serious runner. Moulin Royale looks next best.
Race 4: Daring Dave won well last time, but Western Movie will make him gallop. Silver Salver may be next best, if 1000 not too sharp.
Race 6: Open race- go wide in exotics. Govender stable have a strong hand.
Race 7: De Sol a Sol did not beat much last time, but has plenty of scope for more improvement, and is the one to beat here. Speedy Chestnut ran poorly over further last time, but may be next best. There are plenty of others with chances if De Sol does not step up here.
