I suppose they are keeping their options open - same as with Cape Town Noir and to a lessor (?) extent Legislate and Louis The King :S

Yes they are keeping their options open ,ran 9th behind Pomodora in 2012 ,stable said afterwards she did not stay, better horse now but distance is a problem ,depends on pace of the race ,I think Garden Province maybe better option ,but she is a top racehorse and if she does run in the July you cant discount her ,gutsy and a great turn of foot ,but the race has to go her way, maybe smaller field to her adv as she is not the biggest horse ,and the hustle and bustle of a 20 horse field was not in her advantage

It happened last year , was in the july field money came for her , ended up in garden province drawn 15 or 16 and cruised to a good win......ante post is always play at ur own peril, no one gives a toss whether ur money is down or not.....learnt that before

Same with Cape Town Noir.......also, what if Snaith decides not to run Legislate in the July?? What if Futura doesnt make the grade and is not accepted to run in the July? All these are possibilities....and there are plenty people out there that have already taken bets on these horses.

Ante post is always a risk. I did large on Empress Club when she got scratched from July. But if a stable knows a fancied entrant will not run, it is only fair to everyone to scratch

Her last run was also impressive, she was running away strongly, so I feel she can get the distance many 1600 horses has won the July before....(tu)
