A few in race 2 won't be maidens for long (on pedigree). Definitely a formline worth following after today

Miss K - very well at home, but got a kilo for her last place. Worry is MDK runner. That yard has hit top form and that runner dropped a point after 3 fair handicap runs out the maidens.
Move Like Jagger - well. may need run, as like all Daylamis, he bleeds and I have brought him in gently from the virus. Like with all consistent horses, Handicapper hasnt left him alone either..... we do our best.
Bah - exceptionally well at home. They could go too quick for him early.... Malachite is the one we will line up and watch in the race. Bah didnt hang a few runs back, he ducked away from another horse hanging across him. We will look for a clear run and wont look for the bunch on our inside.

Race 4 looks a nice race with Red Rain and particularly Enaad having scope for improvement, but I'm settling on Gabriel as a place bet at around evens earlier.

Gabriel has been drawn deep on his last 4 starts round the turn and last run this c & d he set the pace before being outrun in the closing stages of a fast run race. Horses just behind him have some ability so the effort looked to be decent.

Today drawn 1 and I think has a decent money chance.

Thanks LG for the feedback - some quick thoughts from my side:

Best bet definitely Sovereign Mint in the 7th - has run to much stronger and ran a creditable race after a rest last time from a wide draw - gets weight from Hillbrow and as Move Like Jagger is expected to need the run, SM look hard to oppose imo - dangers could be Vicotory Cruise and the consistent The Mutineer

In the 4th I think the juvenile has a tough task - now 'direct' winners from either of her last two starts - so for me I prefer the chances of the Red Rain and Gabriel; Captain Also is not finding any support in the market, but I still think he has plenty of improvement to come.

Lots of 'spooks' lurking around at bigger odds - in the 6th Kailani looks really well weighted and if one is prepared to forgive her last run, she has had some fair form over this sort of trip, in the 8th, Classic Traveller comes back to the turf, and on an in-direct formline with Tzigane. looks to hold Fanzene, who in turn is close to Brad's Surge and Abbotsbury on form - so CT no bad value imo. Then in the last Rails Run is coming down in ratings and also gets a 4kg allowance - has some good form down this straight so could surprise in an very open-looking race.

Enjoy (tu)

Trajan's 6th behind Golden Globe 2 runs back wasn't bad and the extra distance might well suit - place claims
