Post Merchants:
Divine Jet has his problems, and often disappoints, but if he runs anywhere near his best form, then he is a big runner tonight. Looks worthwhile e/w at 8 or 10/1.
Race 8: Speed Rocket ran a cracker last time, and looks above his current rating. If he handles the poly, should win this.
20/1 double for the stable worth a go.

Mr H, you are right there. Everyone is very excited about this track. You can get away with more here than the sand I am sure.

I wonder why Delpech, who won quite a few races on Wed from the front , with 2 very short DeKock horses pulled their heads off to run from off them-Why?-this horse Machaan used more energy being hard held, than he would have striding out-never understood that tactic!

Me neither Rob, not a jockey but surely letting a horse stride out when pulling like that would do less damage. Can't complain though as I had Mynameisbond in my PA, included all the Campbell runners tonight regardless of their odds.

Me too Shrek, my PA strategy counts on these kind of horses missing , particularly when there are very few ticks( like no runs on surface)
I have backed horses before though where I have been shouting at the screen " let it stride FFS"-always felt it would be better to be 8 lengths clear than 3 lengths behind when it gets tired .......lol
