We should tread carefully Neigh re the Bulls and Meyer as ABC is loaded with Bulls fans and they may get upset with us. But fact is fact and I think that we wont win an away match in the Championship and even England could beat us at the end of the year. I love the Boks and will support the team until my dying breath but jeez man why did they take him on as national coach.

For me, I think going forward we have a big problem in the front row - yes The Beast can still pull off a good game every now and then, but for me Jannie is definitely not good enough anymore and will not be any better next year - same applies to Guthrow - not trying to be nasty, but that is how I see it. The problem imo is that we have no 'up-and coming' props to take their places - Coenie Oosthuizen imo is good in the 'vaste los', but suspect in the scrums. According to the stats from Superbru, the Lions' scrum is supposed to be one of the strongest in the competition (not sure how accurate the stats are) but still - why is their no room for any of their props in the squad - and I'm not saying that just because I support the Lions - it's just that new blood is needed - rather late than never.
Morne Steyn has not convinced me that he is still the best fly-half around - I'm willing to give him another chance - but I also believe that Marnitz Boshoff should be in the squad, especially as Goosen is so injury prone.

I am not a Bulls supporter and neither a big fan of Heinecke Meyer but you cannot fault his enthusiasm for the game. I have never seen a coach so close to the edge, win or lose, as he is every game. The man is passionate and will give his best to see us winning every time, no fool either in terms of coaching, selections will always be contentious.
New Zealand not looking so comfortable either, perhaps the time has come to do away with the Super 15 and all the unneccessary injuries that all the extra games is causing to players. Test rugby will be a lot more enjoyable when it becomes the annual show stopper rather than the bombardment of other events that dominate the season.
