Not a bad card imo - some thoughts;
R1: Rascality looks the right one to me - seems to hold Gold Cup Girl on a line through Pennington Sands and Bang Sue; Mystic Express looks the value at 13/2.
R2: Does look a bit of 2 horse race between Mystical Star and Gusty Gal - I prefer Gusty Gal as MS comes out of a very weak field - money for the Alexander trained Mulberry Bay - stable in good form and should have a chance on some fair runs back in Feb
R3: Juveniles where fancied runners are not drawn great - nothing really stands out for me
R4: Weakish lot and first timer is not finding that much support - another race where I'm loading up
R5: Pinnacle for filles and mares - Rodeo Sioux really looks the part on stable very confident - Coby not really suited to the track and Sister Of Mercy has something to find at the weights, even if she gets the trip
R6: Toughest race on the card - go look for that pin
R7: Lies between Wisdom Stone and Besame Mucho who both look ideally suited to this trip - only other for me is Bold Flash from a good draw
R8: Very open handicap; Eurakilon still improving and should be there again; most of the others in with some sort of chance; value at the weights could be the moody Emperor Augustus
R9: The valiant Henry Higgins sure to be right there again; de Kock stable (on USO) bullish about the chances of Electric Jet - those would be my first 2, but it is another competitive handicap; good value about Radio Waves and Rambo when compared to Sovereign Mint (imo had every chance last time and could not pull it off)
R10: Jet Avenger apparently has starting stall issues; but according to the stable (USO) those have been sorted and they expect a good run; other than that it looks a trappy affair and I would not be trying to 'get out' on any of these.
Enjoy (tu)
