Actually i was hoping Hatt would do exactly what Fourie had done out the gate and go to the front. With that great draw and no weight, it would have been difficult to catch him if he went clear.
Oh well, I really am gutted this time. Backed Pierre Jourdan to win hundreds.......Backed Run for it last year and now this.......
Glad I'm going back to Vegas next week so i can give racing a nice long break

watch the horse behind WH - That horse keeps on a straight path but at the line WH is about two horse widths closer to the outside rail than he is

Fourie made no attempt to switch his whip to the RH side.

My heart is with Wylie Hall - such a brave move by MJ taking the race by the scruff of the neck, but my head says the objection will be upheld - my main bet was Punta Arenas (6th I think) , but I also had places on In the Fast Lane (but not on the tote - so no 5th place payout
)

.......even though Byleveld has his stick in his left hand trying to keep away from Fourie.....he is still pushing his right reign hand across his mounts neck causing him to run onto legislate.....I hope the stipes see this......as if that is not taken into account the result will stand.....:S
