I see some like this card, different approaches I guess cos I hate it! lol and consequently have not studied for it as I otherwise would, 3/8 races with a strong odds-on fav, not for me.
Anyway...
R1 Party Peg e/w - could win imo and would be disappointed if unplaced so stake almost fully recouped if running 1st three.
R2 Mighty Flash possibly worth watching in the market and will take the fav on with him. Mind Games and Irrawaddy could improve on the surface. Brassing the fav completely with value in mind and using these three for combo exactas and trifectas.
R3 Trying small idiots on Tripswitch and Wellington. Brassing the fav completely with value in mind and putting Sirocco Bay in for combo exactas and trifectas.
R4 Open. Eagle Face on form should not win imo but being from this stable, a possible big runner. Blazing Al could well prove good enough and Anger ran well lto. But, I've gone with Papa Joe though and think Maji Moto could run a big race at fair odds with Salute the Sun possibly making up the trifecta.
R5 Brassing the fav completely with value in mind and putting Sols Gold, Lady Casey and Sarasota in for combo exactas and trifectas.
R6 Plenty in with chances but I'll stick with Velddrifter from Steelwing and Stavinsky.
R7 Electric Jet could well be the right one and Fortress Mine has a chance but would be of greater interest over shorter. The inconsistent Cool Tempest would challenge if on a good day. I've gone with Son Of Approval from Perfect Trip and Brad's Surge.
R8 Poor race which might mean Captain's Diva is good enough again. Despite the poor record over the distance though, at the odds, I'll again take a chance with Cerise Silk, the third consecutive time I've put her up I think so hoping for 3rd time lucky lol. Zena's Own will be third horse thrown in for exactas and trifectas.
Be(s)t of luck to all

Tough looking card today. One horse that could be value if finding his earlier sand form is Safe House in the 6th Race. It looks a horse that has problems but if finding anything near it's 1,25L loss to Taptap at level weights could come into the race at decent odds. Outsider to consider for larger Jackpots and Pick 6's as this could make the exotics pay.
Play well.
Play well.
