Runner today:
Race 7 Omaticaya. One of only 3 here that are proven over the trip (Star Jet and Rodeo Sioux the others). If she repeats her run in the Oaks, should go close here. We are 1kg better off with Star Jet for 1/2 length. Rodeo Sioux is a proven stayer. I think these 3 will fight it out. Roc n Rose , Antonias Fortress and Enchanted Silk are in it if they stay- on breeding Enchanted Silk is the most likely one.
Omaticaya has had quite a bit of racing, but is fit and well and has a good e/w chance today of picking up another listed race.

Race 3: Muscat looks the right one for PAs, but can't back him at the skinny price

Race 4 Cowboy looks a banker for the pick 6. Danger is Royal Colours
Race 5. Counts Rocket has not quite brought his CT form to KZN, and was disappointing on the poly last time. He is weighted to win this, and the 4kg claim makes him hard to beat even if not quite at his best. He is a bit temperamental, but still very good value at 6/1. There are some decent 3yos in the field- Auction King,Golden High and Capricorn ridge, but the handicapper seems to have caught up with all of them. Mercurial Brave, True Master and Royal Zulu Guard look the best of the older brigade. Open race if Counts Rocket does not win.
Race 6: Too difficult for me
Race 8: Competitive handicap. Lady Tatty is well in at the weights, but not sure to stay a mile, and not the most consistent. Luna de Victoria and Hijacked are consistent and should be i the shakeup. Go wide in exotics
Race 9 Mackdesi looks another banker. Emblem rose, Show me Heaven and Roman Rock possibles for those who don't like a banker in the last leg.
Race 10 Brown sugar gets a run, and looks to have a bright chance here. Imbuta Castrum the danger
