Well I can tell you one thing for sure, the whole of the Chinese population was on Magic's Magic and it was pointless objecting because the "non interfering" horse on the outside won.

The whole of Mauritius and some in SA were on the Magic's Magic/ Polar Royal double

Always Flirting shifted in abrubtly and Derreck had no chance to keep him straight. But because of some things that happened earlier in the season involving his stable the crowd got quite riotous. Derreck decided to stand down for the meeting and on the following Monday him and his stable agreed to part ways.

I am sorry to say that there must be some mistake, as ANTON MARCUS will be stable jOC for Charles Laird for now and always. There would never be a jockey change there, the relationship is top class there

over the years number of jockeys had to evacuate the island after a meeting never to return...i know of quite a few but that makes you wonder is racing really fair on the Island....i hate to say it but i think not!

Well if those "evacuated" jockeys are returning to South Africa then how fair is our racing Venodh ?

Apparently they have a points penalty system in Mauritius. When a jock gets to 18 points, he can get 3 months. After Saturday Dereck was on 17 points. Better to leave than to get 3 months for a minor 2 pointer ?
