Final week of WSB comp entries

Lucky Dude has gone 1-0 Liverpool
Naresh has gone 3-0 Liverpool

Naresh cannot win the comp even if he gets the score correct as Lucky Dude would pick up a point for his correct winning team.

Andycap has gone 2-1 to Swansea. If that lands then it will be a tie with 52 points each.

If that's the case then Lucky Dude and Andycap can either share the prize or have a shoot out on a designated match on New Years Day. The decision will be up to the two of them.

Can I lodge an objection. On the 16 December 2014, CnC you posted that if you enter your results weekly it must be done before midday SA time. Will that rule still apply as numerous entrants who posted weekly posted after midday. Thanks.

You can if you want enter week by week but you must then have them on by 1200 SA time on the day of the match as fixtures over this period all kick off at funny times.

Now either I can overrule that or remove the entrants predictions who posted them after 1200 on match day. Its a dilemma. I don't want to upset anybody, and obviously you have played by the rule and you will be in a position to win the comp if I disqualify some of the entrants because of that. I will recalculate all the scores and come back to you within 24 hours with the ruling.

Surely this must be overuled. All selections by these players were in before the games kicked off. If you disqualify so many players without so much as even a friendly warning surely thats extremely unfair.

Cnc when you updated the leaderboard you always included these selections. Now that the competition is over you can't all of a sudden change what you've been doing all along. Where's the consistency? Why didnt Naresh warn us when he noticed people doing it the first time? How can you want to consider giving him the prize when he's not the best tipster? It's a tipping competition isn't it?

I will put in a complaint with the sponsor World Sports Betting if I am not rightly awarded my prize and I will withdraw my funds with them should you make Naresh the winner. With this farce the sponsor may not want to sponsor another competition on ABC.

Bob I was strict, but I was consistent. As soon as there was a discretion, I notified the player and made the adjustments to the leader board immediately. Not after the competition had been completed.
