DOUBLE WHAMMY made a super debut on an above average raceday
look at the multiple winners on LBH - the horse to beat in the 2nd

Maybe,I can't back a debutant on heavy going,so Ramsdens may win but I will play your one and
Carls.
In heavy do you think draw 2 is plus or minus

I've taken a double Gigabyte to place and Jet Supreme to win.

Gigabyte looked a different horse with blinkers and should enjoy the 1400m from a good draw. Is vulnerable to an improving 3 year old but still sets an ok standard.

Jet Supreme has second run back in Cape Town and is the class.

Couple of bets for me
Race 3: Buffalo Trip nice first run, if any improvement will be there 10/1 e/way
Race 4: Funky Munky enjoyed the mud last time, if similar conditions will go close 9/1e/way
Race 6: Blarney Bay mud specialist will take all the beating 2/1
Race 10: Varistar that stewart/faydherbe combination enough said 6/1
Best of luck to all

I'm with Mr H, Double Whammy looks a good e/w to me. CTJ's comment is much appreciated of course but surely his must have improved many lengths to challenge Double Whammy. Of course "lines" are sometimes misleading but DW had Crystal Cavern 2.75l back and that one subsequently finished 4l ahead of Harvard Crimson with the latter beating King's Kitten by 1l. That's 7.75l to find. Despite that, given CTJ's confidence, I have also nibbled at KK.

From a tired, not that interested lol quick look...

R1 Sister Act
R2 Double Whammy
R3 Liquid Mercury
R4 Bianzino
R5 Bandana Girl
R6 Blarney Girl
R7 Petara (Victorious Lady big nag! lol)
R8 Jet Supreme
R9 Cap Alright
R10 Olympian

Be(s)t of luck to all

R5, 4/1 about Bandana Girl looks good value. For me Crystal Cavern is a bit too short being a newly turned 3 year old going over distance for the first time. Whilst she is bred to get the distance, and more, she is a late foal, so may take time to develop, could be horribly wrong on this (donning egg visor), so I will row in with Bandana Girl.

hahaha thanks Bunks, I still think my aim was pretty much prefect though... a little lower and it might have offended some, a little higher and the usual 10 wouldn't bother viewing my profile today lol ;)

Bayern... I agree, I like Bandana today, that one, Double Whammy and Cap Alright form a patent of mine.

Race 2 (Double Whammy) is difficult. Looking at an earlier post, trainer C. Burger feels he's horse is the one to beat, albeit the betting wouldn't suggest so, quite a few have found good reason why Double Whammy should win with natural improvement, and then the money on the first timer - makes it all too confusing, I'll see at race time.
