Life Insurance shares always used to perform better than their products. Would we make more money by buying Phumela shares or gambling?

As you undoubtedly now know there is going to be a 'rescue' exercise. How it will actually turn out nobody really knows.
I started buying Abil last Friday - as a punt! Averaged 41c a share and am presently on a 'discount' of about R730,000 when measured against its historical price.
Let's see. It can be no worse than punting horses........lol.
I took a gamble as well.... Got a parcel at 35c..... Counting the money as gone. Will see.

You guys will cash in at your prices (don't be too greedy)
Some years ago when Nedbank went down to R55 (from above R150) I bought as much as I could afford. .......sold at R110.( counting on the fact that banks are not "allowed" to fail and Abil will be no exception)
Wish I could have got some at the price you blokes got them!!!!
