Tough card today...

My contribution...

Race 1 - 3,4,7,8
Race 2 - 2,7 - 3,6
Race 3 - 1 - 8
Race 4 - 2,4,5
Race 5 - 1,2
Race 6 - 1,2,3,5,6
Race 7 - 5,6 - 7
Race 8 - 1,3,4
Race 9 - 1,4,9 - 13

Starting a new experiment today...aim is to pick two winners per day (from speed ratings and jockey / trainer form) and as soon as that is achieved, no further bets for the day.

It has taken me the better part of a 2-3 weeks but I have back-tested for 4 months and the two winners per day is highly likely using speed ratings and jockey / trainer form.

I have worked out that I can have max of 5 consecutive losing bets and from back-testing the max consecutive losing bets was 4...most recent example of this was last Friday at Fairview...and that was a tough meeting...would have had no wins from Races 1 - 4 and then Albarakah won Race 5 and then no wins from Races 6-8 and then Kono won Race 9...that would have been the two winners for the day but would have required bets in all 9 races before second winner...on other days, the 2 winners have come in the first two races so goal would have been achieved early and no interest in rest of card...

Will try to post my selections every day so we can see when the two winners per day is achieved...and will post at the end of September how successful the experiment was...

Wish me luck... :)

Extremely straightforward card for Flamingo Park imo

R1: Beez Brother - Imperial Coast - Pack Ice - Wild Lord - Anointed King
R2: All the Bids - San Vicenzo - Imperani - Terra Nova
R3: Gaellic Girl - Tommy Gun - Code Red - Giant Strides
R4: Autodrome - Downtown Girl - Royal Quest - Whatts Up - All knowledge - Skype
R5: Jet for Joy - Pole Dance - All the Tens - Typhoon Tash - With Passion
R6: Play Play - The Delegator - Black Pkatinum - prince Fireball - Beach Bar
R7: Niebelung - Dutchess Catherine - Solar Energy - Planisphere
R8: On this Rock - Fly me High - Black Pepper - Atso Fields - Wild & windy
R9: Gee I Jane - Queen if Rock - Corne's Girl - Cloud Runner - American Pie - van Loveren - Sunsilk Star

Exotics should pay very little

Autodrome X play play x On this Rock

@WP...I've had an extremely good run over the last 18-24 months (posted previously about changes to betting methodology...now making a fairly decent return every month) and on track to be in the black (overall...after many years of losses)...by the end of the year...

Going to be extremely disciplined to see how good the next month is...it will always be tempting to want to take another bet after the two winners achieved but I'm going to stick to the plan diligently...

Good luck TN :)

Some of these races look to be fairly obvious, at least in terms of the main contenders. Always makes me a little nervous lol...

R1 Beez Brother has been finishing his races well so I expect a decent effort over the additional 200. Imperial King the one most likely to fill the exacta spot but stablemate Wild Lord also a contender on the run to Bronze Idol. The quartet likely to be made up by Anointed King. On some lines Marchioness Janie might not be too far away at a price and there is perhaps a surprise or two possible in the remainder but unlikely imo,

R2 Hard to oppose All The Bids. I think Imperani might prove to be the closest challenger if coming on for the return from a rest run lto. San Vicenzo for the trifecta.

R3 Not going to oppose Tommy Gun. The exacta as per the market could well be Code Red but Gaelic Girl might add a little value to the trifecta.

R4 Royal Quest from a bang in form yard but the breeding gives me no positive indication and her Vaal sand form appears poor. Much too short in the market given that imo so Autodrone for me. Skype may prove the biggest danger but watch out for Downtown Girl, blinkers removed and returning from a rest lto when well beaten on c debut but was drawn widest of 10 that day, stable coming into some form and there is a positive in the breeding.

R5 Jet For Joy but somewhat tentatively given the disappointing run lto. Pole Dance the one for the exacta but agaon tentatively, don't believe she had been in peak form recently. With the lack of confidence in those two then a suprise could well be in store, Typhoon Tash could be best outside of the top two but nothing would entirely surprise and stablemate With Passion has had a series of very poor draws but even so, on form looks held. Dropdeadbeautiful has been rested but although her overall form is nothing special at all, she did put in the occasional decent effort and there is a positive in the breeding.

R6 Tough. I have gone with a hunch on Prince Fireball with the stable in such good form. Hoping the low draw will keep him in touch and then stay on best. The two Cliffie Miller runners have shouts and Play-Play also likely to be in the vicinity. PF's stablemate Terrible Gulch nibbled and Kings News if coming on for the run lto when finishing well could also be a runner over a more suitable d with a featherweight and the 1 box.

R7 Miesque's Critic has been on my radar for a couple of meetings and I will stick with him here. Duchess Catherine despite being up against the boys the biggest danger from box 1 and despite still being a maiden, LG's Niebelung also likely to be thereabouts. Solomons Wall was talked up by Stef lto but disappointed and is not for me until showing better.

R8 Although it looks likely to finish with On This Rock from Black Pepper there are a couple that could upset. Watch out for Wild And Windy who has put in a few decent runs and has a positive in the breeding for a stable returning to some form. Rebel assault was in fine form prior to the rest and though behind a few of these lto, that run may have brought him on and likely to be more competitive here. May be too short for Dynamic Star but with the stable in such good form not to be discounted lightly.

R9 Gee I Jane finally showed some decent form lto and hoping she can maintain it and follow up here. Plenty ready to take advantage if she fails to do so, primarily American Pie and Queen Of Rock imo. GIJ's stablemate should not win imo but can never be sure with the stable. Cloud Runner under Khumalo should be in the vicinity and Furious Power not overlooked, won maiden well on only previous c visit.

Be(s)t of luck to all
