He has a couple earlier in the day bud but yes, appear to be his first runners since late July and they were in KZN,

Agra, I am confused, I am sure I have asked this before and got an affirmative but are all your "selections" not based on info you receive? I see both the first two you mention have been backed which would tend to support this but you are saying you "like" one of them and the other "appeals" etc which seems to imply you have studied and made your own selections. Although ultimately it probably makes no difference, and no disrespect intended obviously but, I do think people reading would prefer to know from where your selections come, your own studying, stable info or from another source etc. It certainly makes a difference to me when looking at what selections others have posted.

From the Joey Ramsden website... hope there are no copyright issues lol

Pre-Race
Kenilworth - 03 September 2014

AROUND NOT ACROSS:
Doubtful runner

BRUTAL FORCE:
I don’t think he can win first time out as he is such a big horse. He is an absolute monster and it is tough to get enough work into him. I would have liked one more gallop but he will not disgrace himself and will put in a really good effort.

GALLICA ROSE:
Obviously another couple of 100m’s would suit her much better but if our man Bernard is at his best, there is no reason she cannot get her head in front in this race.

PRINCESS SALME:
We are stretching her over the 1800m. There is no reason, on pedigree, she cannot stay the trip. She is in good form and should give a good account of herself.

CHESTER'S WISH:
This is another tough 7 furlong race but we have Marwing up and there is no reason Chester cannot put in a really big effort. It all depends on whether one of the older horses come in better handicapped.

and from a quick glance study, with value thrown in the mix in some cases, more for an interest etc...

R1 Say So Tiger (small e/w)
R2 Shakespeare's Lady x Blue Martini x Dance In The Woods
R3 Rebel's Girl x Ideal Countess x Star Of Mysore
R4 Carousel Swing x Elusive Wave x Command Chi
R5 Gigabyte x Count Dracula x Spectacular Jet
R6 Singing River x Flash Drive x Headstrong Harry (Visser horses fit though? Zinnavar included in some accies but jury out today for me)
R7 Internet Jet x Gallica Rose x Beulah
R8 Society Rock x Tuvano x Sidecar (Our Jet a nagger)
R9 Chester's Wish x Charles Lytton x Dogmatism (nowhere near the same confidence as Bayern but that man is good ... and very good generally when he likes one strongly! ;) )

Be(s)t of luck to all

Buddies,co-incidentely the sixth was the first (and only) race i looked at before Bayern opened the thread and my feeling was that nothing stood out and wasnt a race to be certain of any.In honesty i was trying to make a case for Zinnavar but kept coming back to SR earlier KZN form as the favourite started her career there.Apart from encountering Luxardo on more then one occasion Singing River was ahead of Cunning Fox (by two lenghts!)and the significance there is that Zinnavar ran a 1200m a second and a half slower then Cunning Fox did on the same day.

If you fancy Reim you cannot exclude the chances of Flash Drive and in so doing you bring Headstrong Harry into it.If they were all fit and run to their ability i would not hesitate to make the Visser one a good thing. The key here is finding the one thats most ready!

It would be refreshing to hear the opinions of the handicappers (as well) here please as it would also give me an indication of how to improve my understanding of a race
